Abandoned barn discovered

At the end of last year, and with a brand new one ahead, the Party Committee has to admit having been nervous on what to prepare next. It wasn’t until I got a phone call from a group of explorers who claimed to have found what looked like an "abandoned barn" deep in the wilderness of the island. As an island historian, I never knew Club Penguin had barns. And I can assure you that I know a lot!

The Club Penguin Times came to investigate (even though it was a bit tricky to follow the path there and back) and, to our surprise, it was indeed a big, abandoned puffle barn! So far, we haven’t been able to collect more information on the history of the barn itself, but we did find some mysterious pictures and documents relating to something very different: aviation.

Come to think of it, not much is known about the history of flight on the island. Jet Packs are the best bet for quick travels, but for long trips the fuel isn’t enough. It appears that this barn’s grounds have been used in the past as a test flight site by an unknown flight enthusiast, but it is also unknown if he was ever able to fly. And that was how Gary the Gadget Guy got the idea for the next party! He says that "if everything goes as planned, it’s going to be historic".

Stay tuned for more news on the upcoming event!
