"Halloween is here!", "Lightning warning"

Halloween is here!

Not even a lightning storm could stop this Halloween party. Ghosts are haunting the island and there's a lot to explore. Whether you're a rad scientist, or a green monster, there are a few things you don't want to miss during this celebration.

"Oh my!" - said Gary the Gadget Guy - "My Ghoul Detector 3000 is detecting high levels of spectral energy. That means we're being haunted by GHOSTS! And they seem to be attracted to candy."

Gary asks for everyone's help to catch the new "candy ghosts". Go to the Scavenger Hunt menu in your toolbar and start hunting (plus, there's a reward)!

"I'll definitely be visiting for this party. We need to have a scientist reunion as soon as possible!" - added Gary.

What is there to do at this Halloween Party?

Besides ghost catching, there are a lot of fun places you can visit!
  • Ski Village - You can host a costume show/contest with your friends on this new stage!
  • Spooky Forest - The Forest plays a big role in this party. It is the entrance to both:
    • The Dark Swamp, which takes you on a scary quest
    • The Haunted House, a classic haunted Halloween horror (that's a lot of H's!)
  • Ghost Catcher HQ - Hang out with other ghost catchers at the Cove!
  • Secret Lab - Members, go grab a lab coat costume from the Gift Shop. You'll need it to enter the Secret Lab!
  • The Night of the Living Sled - As tradition, the three NOTLS movies are screening! Start with the Coffee Shop, then the Dance Lounge and lastly, the Lighthouse to watch them in order.
Due to an unforseen event, we have discovered a problem with our projectors, which means the movies might not screen this year. Sorry to disappoint, everyone.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lightning warning

One of the largest lightning storms in Club Penguin's history has struck the island, bringing a barrage of near constant lightning strikes.
Gary the Gadget Guy, working with local safety and Rescue Squads, has released safety tips.

Tip 1

Be careful near swimming areas: Swim outdoors at your own risk. A lightning strike could prove dangerous in water.

Tip 2

Use caution in mountain areas: We're confident that penguins in town are in no danger, but be wary of higher places where the lightning will be more intense. Extra caution should be exercised at the Ski Hill and Dojo.

Tip 3

Do not carry long metal objects: Avoid waddling around with large pieces of metal, such as lightning rods. Lightning tends to be drawn to them.
